It is our goal to build a public computing platform, and provide the computing service for the research on nanomaterials. We also provide the theoretical computation and prediction for the research institutes and companies.
The Computing Center now has a 32-core Computer Cluster, which is built by us independently. The Cluster is public and compatible with standard, and can be remotely controlled. It has achieved a multi-user, multi-task parallel computation environment. We use OpenPBS for parallel operations’ management. According to the research needs in our institute, we have been developing the computing methods on the physical, chemical and biological phenomena for studying specific performance of nano-structure. We can also provide theoretical calculations for surrounding research institutes and related enterprises.
