2015 International Terahertz Technology and Applications Symposium

As an interdiscipline, Terahertz has gained great concern since it is first advanced. It plays an important role in the development of national economy, national safety, counter terrorism and lays a foundation for the new industries. In recent years, Terahertz scienceand technology gets great development in addition to the research on traditional THz radiation source, THz detection, THz spectrum and THz imaging. The application of THz remote sensing, THz radar, THz communication, THz meterage, THz nondestructive testalso gets full development in material characterization , environment inspection, petrochemical industry, aerospace industry, biomedical research, national safety and national defense.
In order to promote the academic exchange and scientific development of Terahertz technology, Chinese Society for Optical Engineering, Photoelectronic Technology Committee, Chinese Society of Astronautics organize the International Symposium on Terahertz Technology and Its Application with University of Shanghai for Science and Technology on Jun 17-19th, 2015 in Suzhou China.
