Dr. Roland Haitz, inventor of Haitz's Law and a now-retired scientist at Agilent Technologies, paid a visit to Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics(SINANO), Chinese Academy of Sciences on November 16, 2010.

Dr. Haitz made a report on semiconductor lighting during the visit. He reviewed the development history, summarized present situation and looked aheadto the future of semiconductor lighting. Prof. YANG Hui, director of SINANO, attended the report meeting and offered him an employment for the position of guest scholar. 

Dr. Haitz also visited the sub-bodies of SINANO, including Printable Electronics Research Centre, Suna Displays Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Nanojoin Photonics Co., Ltd.
