Authored by Prof. Zheng Cui, Director of Printable Electronics Research Center at the Suzhou Institute of Nanotech and Nanobionics, the 3rd Edition of “Micro-Nanofabrication Technologies and Applications”  has recently been published by the Chinese Higher Education Press. The book (written in Chinese) is the latest added to the series of books written by Prof. Cui who has since 2005 published 5 books on the subject of micro and nanofabrication technologies and applications. Three of them were written in Chinese and two in English. The English books are the “Micro-Nanofabrication Technologies and Applications” (Springer, 2006) and the “Nanofabrication: Principles, Capabilities and Limits” (Springer, 2008).

Prof. Cui has worked on micro and nanofabrication technologies for over 20 years, with wide knowledge and deep understanding of the field. The books he published have been widely recognized in China and abroad. It has helped greatly the widespread use of micro and nanofabrication tools and technologies in China. The publication of the third edition is a proof of its wide acceptance by the Chinese researchers and engineers, and surely would further contribute to the advances of microtechnology and nanotechnology which progresses are vitally dependent on variety of new and old fabrication techniques.
