7th International conference on materials for advanced technologies (ICMAT) (Singapore) was held in Singapore, on 30 June- 5 July 2013, which provides a good scientific platform for international materials scientists, engineers, and technologists. This conference consists of 30 technical symposia covering almost all the aspects of materials science, engineering and technology. There are 9 plenary lectures by distinguished scientists including 2 by Nobel laureates, 4 theme lectures and 2 public lectures by Nobel laureates. Large numbers of keynote and invited talks are being presented in various symposia, in addition to oral and poster presentations by about 2000 delegates.
Dr Zhao Jianwen from Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech & Nano-Bionics, CAS(SINANO) gave a talk entitled “Sorting Large Diameter Carbon Nanotubes with Polymers and Application to Printed Transistors and Simple Logic Circuits” in symposium G: carbon nanotubes and grapheme: synthesis, functionalization and applications. In this talk, Dr. Zhao introduced some research results of Printable Electronic Research Center, such as Aerosol jet printed, flexible large diameter semiconducting carbon nanotube driving circuits for organic light emitting diode (OLED). Many researchers showed great interests in printable electronics, and had intention to cooperate with Printable Electronics Research Center.
