Abstract:
Since its first introduction in 2009, perovskite-based solar cells have garnered much attention. Especially in the past year, several groups achieved solar energy-to-electricity conversion efficiencies greater than 15%. On the other hand, the understanding about device degradation mechanisms and long-term stability remains largely elusive. In this talk, I will focus on air-exposure effects on 2,2',7,7'-tetrakis(N,N-di-p-methoxy phenylamine)-9,9'-spirobifluorene(spiro-MeOTAD), the most widely used hole transport material for perovskite-based solar cells.
