As the (Co-) first author or corresponding author, Dr. Zhao has published >20 academic papers in some well-known SCI journals from 2015 to 2022, such as Nano Energy, Fundamental Research, ACS Photonics, Adv. Mater. Interfaces, ACS Appl. Nano Mater., Appl. Phys. Lett., Nanomaterials, Materials Advances, Scientific Reports, RSC Advances, etc. Some papers have been selected as Back Cover or reported by Semiconductor Today or CAS official website as news. Furthermore, he has applied >10 patents (7 patents authorized). As the leader, Dr. Zhao has guided / completed the research works of 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), 3 projects of CAS and several provincial projects. In addition, Dr. Zhao serves as the Guest Editor for the SCI journal Crystals and the Reviewer for Nano Energy, Optics Express, J. Appl.
